TOURISM oppor tunities for residents and visitors, and the objective is to increase
leisure oppor tunities within the Count y.
2024 EXPANDED RECREATION OFFERINGS
The RecXpress bus mobile recreation unit is the county's traveling FUN! The bus visits communities and parks in Charles County to broaden program access, including visits to Nanjemoy,
Newburg, and Indian Head, as well as our public librariesand local communit y events. The
emphasis is on increasing exposure and awareness of our many recreation offerings, such as
line dance programs in parks and play dates at community centers.
