Discover Earth Camps
Discover All Things Coding
Explore all things coding in an intense week of guided coding exercises
from beginner to advanced. By the end of the week students will have
designed their own game and animation. Students will have achieved an
introductory level of proficiency in various coding languages and styles.

Discover Space, Earth and Environmental Science
Join Ms. Blizzle and Team Discover as we learn more about space, planet
Earth and the environment through hands-on fun. You'll build a model
solar system and your very own 3-D planet; and learn all about caring for
the Earth by making a terrarium and starting a garden of your own.
students will learn about outer space, the National Aeronautics and Space
Administration (NASA), planet Earth, pollution, ecosystems, and "green"
gardening.

Discover Extreme Weather and Natural Disasters
Join Ms. Blizzle and Team Discover as we learn more about lightning,
tornadoes, hurricanes, earthquakes and volcanoes through hands-on fun.
You'll have fun with weather forecasting, making clouds and tornadoes,
building your own model volcano that erupts and so much more!

Discover Messy Chemistry
Join Ms. Blizzle and Team Discover as we explore the messy world of
chemistry! During this week of camp we will make our own slime, play
dough, ice cream, explosions and lots of chemical reactions all with items
commonly found at home. Things will definitely get messy in the name of
science and fun! Students will learn about the periodic table, chemical
reactions, states of matter, how chemistry is found in our everyday life.

Discover Energy and Robotics
Join Ms. Blizzle and Team Discover as we explore technology and
engineering. During this week of camp you will produce energy from
unlikely sources (fruit!), build model wind and solar generators, and
design your own robots! Students will learn about traditional and
renewable energy, build model wind and solar generators, build and
design robots.

Brick Inspiration LEGO and Animation Camp
Explore science, technology, architecture, engineering, and art using
LEGO bricks. Design, build, and light up an entire city of tall buildings,
bridges, roads, parks, and railways. Use batteries, bulbs, wires, and
switches to bring creations alive. This camp will fire up your child’s
imagination and spark creativity in the form of inspired play building one
of our themed Lego creations coupled with our magical delivery.
Curriculum provides an opportunity to design and build LEGO creations
working either individually or in groups and participate in challenges,
group competitions and free build time towards the end of camp. Using
the iPad’s provided and animation software (Stop-Motion) your child will
create inspiring LEGO animations and bring LEGO to life creating small
movies. LEGO stop-motion is a perfect activity for your child to discover
new talents creating their own stop-motion animation movie. *No camp
June 19; week will be pro-rated.

Multi-Activity Inspiration
The multi-activity camp provides a hybrid of our most fun and inspiring
activities that comprise of artistic LEGO building, creative Digital Learning
Activities, and action-packed multi-sports. A fun-filled day that will enable
campers to experience a wide range of creative, artistic and sports
activities will spark their imagination and keep them active throughout
the day. The curriculum will provide campers with an opportunity to
design and build lots of different LEGO creations, use a range of visual art
apps that will develop creative artistic talents using digital technologies.
The multi-sports activities will provide campers with an opportunity to
engage in high tempo structured sports activities and will include set
teaching drills, sports techniques, and creative teaching methods
designed to enhance skill development in a positive, fun environment.

Discover STEM Survival
Have you ever thought about what you would do if the power grid
collapses? What would you do if you no longer had access to freshwater
for drinking? This week of hands-on learning teaches you to survive
challenging times in a fun and engaging way. Students are presented with
potential real-world challenges, all the tools they need, and the step-bystep guide to overcoming the challenge.

Digital Learning and Animation Camp
Learn the foundational tools of using iMovie, Stop Motion Animation, and
Visual Art Apps. In this exciting and creative digital learning curriculum,
campers will explore how to make movies with iMovie and create
animations using LEGO and other props using iStopMotion. Campers will
learn how to bring characters to life and create their own short films! A
range of Visual Art Apps will blend campers’ creative artistic talents using
digital technologies and create amazing pictures. Retro classic arcade
games and some physical recreation activities will be included in this nonstop action and learning fun.
