Elite Basketball Skills Academy
This clinic is designed for the gym rat who wants to be challenged. This clinic provides individualized guard and post player development with focus on; advanced
dribbling, educated and calculated ball handling, high percentage shooting as well
as a variety of post moves in a small group setting with maximum intensity. No
class March 31, April 4, and May 23.

Basics of Basketball
This is not a league. Non-competitive program (five sessions) designed to develop
skills and promote fun while participating in loosely organized games. Players go
through multiple skill building stations and play round-robin style games. Games
and practices will be in one location. No class March 30-April 6 and May 23.
Youth In-House Field Hockey
New and experienced players are encouraged to attend this instruction-based program. This is not a league. Non-competitive program designed to develop field
hockey skills and promote fun while participating in loosely organized drills to teach
the basics of field hockey. Players go through multiple skill building stations and play
loosely organized games that emphasize learned skills. Sticks and balls are provided.
All participants must bring mouth guard, shin guards, tennis shoes, and cleats.

Charles County Department of Recreation, Parks, and Tourism is offering a noncompetitive Adult Flag Football Program. Game play and program structure will
be overseen by recreation staff. Players will play loosely organized games each day.
Teams will be made on-site. Players must not be eligible to participate at the high
school level. Other than the game ball, there will be no sharing of supplies, equipment, or personal belongings. Registration deadline: April 11.

Youth Summer Basketball League
The community-based youth recreational leagues are, first and foremost, intended
to provide a positive social experience for boys and girls with an emphasis placed
on good sportsmanship, fun, and exercise. Teams are based on area, age, height,
and experience. Players and coaches receive team shirt. It is your responsibility to
select the correct shirt size. Additional charge for new shirt size.
Youth league practices will begin the week of June 22. Weekly practices and games
run June 22-August 1. Games played at various locations. Leagues may be combined
due to low program enrollment. League is countywide. League age is as of Sep 1,
2026. Players age 17 must be enrolled in high school.
Pee Wee Registration Fee: $80 • Age 8-17 Registration Fee: $95
Registration Deadline: June 3 • Save $15 if registered by May 20!
