Regular season will be round-robin format with teams playing double-headers. A
minimum of 12 players and maximum of 20 players is permitted per team. Players
must be 18+ and not eligible to participate on the High School level. Interested
individual players can register as a free agent.
Team Fee: $625
Individual/Small Group (Up to 3) Registration Fee: $75/each

Pickleball is a fun sport that combines elements of tennis, badminton, and table
tennis. The rules are simple, and the game is easy for beginners to learn, but
it can develop into a fast-paced, competitive game for experienced players. Learn
to play this fun and exciting game and then put your skills to the test in friendly
games. All necessary equipment is provided. Dates and times subject to change.
Pickleball is available at Piccowaxen Community Center, Port Tobacco Recreation
Center, Wade Community Center, and Waldorf Senior & Recreational Center. Contact

Youth Kickball Program
Charles County Department of Recreation, Parks, and Tourism is offering a noncompetitive, just for fun Youth Kickball program. Game play and program structure
will be overseen by recreation staff. Players will receive instruction and play loosely
organized games each day. Team assignments will be made onsite on the first day
of the program. Registration numbers will dictate team ratios. Program meets once
a week for six weeks.

Pickleball Ladder League
Join a group of similar skilled players each week to compete in organized matches.
Players will alternate teammates while playing 3 games to 17 per night. Each night
of games, the points scored by your team will be added to your total points for the
night. Nightly totals will be tallied and added to your total points for the season. As
you earn more points, you move up or down the ladder to play with and against
similar skilled players. Each region will start with a random draw. Season will conclude with an end of the season tournament. Awards will be given for the top three
players in each region and end of season tournament winners. No games April 17.

Lil Athletes Academy
Join us this spring for a new and exciting way to spend time with your child while
introducing them to the wide world of sports. Our Lil Athletes Academy is designed
to promote family & fun while introducing your child to a variety of sports and new
friends in a safe environment. Our instructors have created a curriculum plan to
keep everyone socially distant and have a great time learning together. All playing
equipment will be provided. Each six-week session meets once a week (6 classes).
Adult participation is required.

Racquetball
