Calm Cove Sensory Space
Hand Dance
Hand Dance is one of the most popular partner dances in the DMV area. Class will
teach the skills and techniques of old school hand dance, as well as contemporary
hand dance with swing concepts. Class focuses on beginner and intermediate skills;
however, all skill levels are welcomed. No partner required. Leather bottom shoes
strongly recommended. Pre-registration required and space is limited. No class
June 19.

Come entertain all your senses including touch, sight, taste,
sound, and smell in a controlled and intentionally created
space. The Calm Cove provides multi-sensory resources to support
sensory needs to enable participants to engage in fun and engaging
activities. The space can be calming or stimulating depending on the
needs of those present and will be available for reservations upon
request as well. Come visit and satisfy your sensory needs with us!

Learn basic ballet and tap skills while learning the proper techniques and building
strength. Classes will cover basic moves and work on choreography. All skill levels
welcome. Participants must bring a water bottle. Parental presence is required.
