Grandparent & Me
The Confident Young Communicator!
We are excited to bring you this series of multigenerational programs; break down
the technology barrier and get back to basics! Join us to bridge the generational
gap through a wide array of crafts and fun activities to challenge your mind and
body. Youth and adult participation required. For more information, contact the
center directly.
During this fun and engaging workshop, students will learn the fundamentals of
public speaking, how to develop, write, deliver a speech, techniques for becoming
an effective communicator and so much more. The sessions will be led by the owner
of Speak EZ for Kids and author of Mega Books on Public Speaking for Kids & Teens.
Supplies will be provided. Participation is required during all classes.

Kid’s Night Out
Wouldn’t you like to enjoy a quiet night out while knowing your children are having
a ball playing at one of our Community Centers? Well, here is your chance! Our fun
filled nights will keep your child busy with a variety of games, crafts, and refreshments. Each child will receive 2 pieces of pizza, a drink, and snacks.

Beautifully Brilliant Mentorship Program
Beautifully Brilliant is a monthly workshop that prepares girls to meet the challenges
of adolescence and young adulthood through a coordinated, progressing series
of high-quality activities and learning experiences that will help them to achieve
social, emotional, and physical well-being. Girls will participate in 1:1 mentoring &
enrichment activities, that will assist in them becoming more confident. They will
also gain the ability to analyze their own strengths and weaknesses, set goals, and
authentically boost their self-esteem.
Resident Fee: $25; Non-Resident: $30

Parent & Me: Pastry and Paint Night
Come channel your inner artist with this easy-to-follow paint and pastries night!
You and your child will create a fun and unique two-part painting that is sure to
be a fantastic conversation starter in your home! Each month will be a different
seasonal theme. Fee includes one adult and one child.

Love Taekwondo
Taught by Master Lynnette Love, a 1988 Olympic Gold Medalist and 8th Dan
Grandmaster, who has been teaching since 1984. Students will learn basic kicking,
punching and self-defense skills through repetition and will promote through various
belts to the ultimate goal of Black Belt. Sparring techniques, kicking targets, and
basic forms (pattern to an invisible opponent) are some of the physical elements
of taekwondo. Equipment fee will be collected at the first class.
Testing Fees: $55 (up to Jr Red Belts); $70 (Red Belts to Jr Black Belts); $70 Uniform and $25 T-Shirt Fee
